Beach Body Diet
Summer is here! It is time to get on track with the beach body diet to get that sexy beach body. To get a beach worthy body, one must be consistent and strigent with diet. Following a low carb, high protein diet will get your baby belly fat in shape in no time!

Keeping the carbs to a minimum is essential in losing fat and excess water. Simple carbohydrates like processed breads, pasta, cookies, cake, sugar, juice, etc. are dangerous to a summer body, as these items feed existing fat and make you even fatter.
Cookies, cake, and even bread cause a rapid rise in blood sugar or glucose. This causes the pancreas to release insulin. Insulin determines how the body absorbs, uses, and stores sugar. When you eat a meal that converts easily to sugar, insulin takes over and decides if that meal will end up on your hips or on top of the fat below your belly. Why are carbs so bad?
Insulin will take the blood sugar and feed your cells including the fat cells. Any blood sugar not needed by your cells will be stored in the fat cells! After puberty, your body does not usually make fat cells, the ones you have just get bigger.
Uusally, if you have been eating high carbohydrate meals for a long time you can become insulin resistant. This means that the glucose or sugar just sits in your blood and your cells are hungry. You begin to have intense cravings for food, sugary treats and you signal your brain for more insulin. This begins a viscious cycle.
So just avoid simple carbohydrates all together. Please be aware that you still need carbohydrates in your life. Your brain functions primarily on carbohydrates. Trust me go on a no carb diet - you will get headaches.
So get your carbs from vegetables and fruit. These sources of carbs have fiber or fibrous material that slows down the absorption of food or the conversion to blood sugar. Also, you feel fuller faster.
Combine your salads, veggies, and fruits with great tasting protein - eggs, tuna, steak, and chicken. Stay away from all processed foods. Don't eat bread, candy, cookies, ice cream, sugar, flour, juice or soda. This is the perfect recipe for a beach body. Enjoy!
