Contrary to common belief, eating every two to three hours will help you lose fat. Eating at constant intervals will help keep insulin levels stable. Moreover, your metabolism keeps blazing. You have more energy.

When you starve yourself, your body holds onto fat. For energy during famine, your body will breakdown muscle. You will get eventually even fatter than before. So just eat.

Get Some Rest

Getting a good night's rest is imperative. Sleep can soothe your stresses away. Stress causes you to be fat. The stress hormone, cortisol, causes you to crave sugary and fatty food. Lack of sleep causes a good amount of stress. So try to get at least six hours of good quality sleep.
