Hardcore Treadmill Workout

The treadmill should be your best-friend when trying to lose excess body fat. The treadmill will help you strip fat and build muscle. Follow this great free hardcore treadmill workout to strip your body of ugly belly fat fast.

Start walking at 3.0mph. Use this time to warm up. Warm up your muscles, stretch out your legs by taking long strides. Warm up for two to three minutes.

Next, hike up the incline to 4.0. Pick up the speed as well to 3.5mph. Do this for one minute. Don’t hold onto the handle bars. Work for it. The next minute, you can pick up the pace to 4.5mph. Begin a slow jog. If you are truly struggling, decrease the incline, but try to hang in there for the full minute.

So far five minutes have passed. You should be having a slightly labored breath. Increase your speed to 5.0mph and run for one minute. Finish the segment with a fast sprint at 6.0mph. Congratulations, you have just finished one segment of your hardcore treadmill workout.

Decrease your speed to 3.5mph and walk for two minutes to recover. Then begin the sequence again. Incline at 4.0 and a one minute walk at 3.5mph. Minute two – decrease the incline and do a one minute jog at 4.5mph. Minute three - run at 5.0mph. Minute four - sprint at 6.0mph. Minute five and six – relax and walk at 3.0mph.

Follow the above sequence three more times to complete at thirty five to forty minute workout. Finish all your workouts with a four to five minute cool down – steadily decrease the speed of the treadmill till your heart rate and breath return to normal.

You can perform this workout every other day. Once you get acclimated to this, fool around with the time and speed intervals. Decrease your rest period to one minute. Or sprint for a minute and thirty seconds. As long as you’re sweating profusely, you should be okay.
