Max Muscle
Max muscle is always the goal in any diet or fitness program. We want to lose fat and build muscle. Sticking to a clean eating program and a strict exercise regime ensures this goal.
For guys wanting to build max muscle and lose fat, a clean diet is imperative. First you must feed the muscle. Ensure that you eat every two to three hours. What do you eat? How many calories?
Counting calories is truly not that important, as long as you are eating clean. Following something simple like the South Beach Diet or the Fat Flush Diet will help you get to your goals without doing something tedious as counting calories or fat grams.
A clean diet involves consuming lean proteins and vegetables. Examples of lean proteins include tuna fish, eggs, white fish, and chicken. Try to have at least 6oz of chicken, 9oz of fish, or 4oz of steak at all meals. These protein rich foods feed your muscles and prevent you from feeling famished. Chicken, steak, or the similar do not cause that severe rise in blood sugar that causes insulin to be released. This is why it's important to stay away from simple carbohydrates as they are just plain sugar.
Eating a piece of protein every two to three hours will keep the fat burning fires blazing. Your metabolism or calorie burning ability, remains high and at a stable level as there are no drops or highs in blood sugar levels.
If Your Diet is Right, Continue On For a Great Max Muscle Exercise Program
Next, we'll focus on building max muscle or strength. Using the "1-10" method - you will focus on one group of muscles every other day. Take bicep curls. You will do one bicep curl and rest at the point of flexion at the top for one second. Then, you will do two biceps curls and on the second bicep curl, you will flex and hold flexion for two seconds. Then, do three bicep curls and again at the third bicep curl - you will hold the flexion for three seconds. So on and so forth for ten times. This method ensures that your body will not get adapted and you will enjoy max muscle growth.
