Simple Tip for Weight Loss - Water

Water has simply saved me many of night from having the biggest food feast ever! If someone had told me that water could help me lose weight - I would've died laughing.

But since having tried it, I realize that water really is the most perfect thing on this planet. As a Registered Nurse, I see the various positive functions water has to our bodies; one of them being fast weight loss. How?

Guess what - if you are not drinking at minimum 1.5 to 2 liters of water a day ... you're body being the efficient machine that it is, stores water reserves on your body. For example, your belly right now is storing water. Your love handles are most likely storing water. Your body will release these water reserves when you start providing it with nourishing water on a daily basis. So, as you start increasing your water intake and take more frequent trips to the bathroom - think about how your body is naturally releasing all the water stuck on your belly. Simple trick.

Water is a natural appetite supressant. Try drinking two liters of water a day - you are pretty full and most of your time (at least until you get used to it) is spent in the bathroom - urinating. By giving yourself a goal to drink two liters of water a day, you are forced to drink nothing but water. Yup, that's right no room for juice, soda, sugar laden coffee. Just plain water.

For those of you that abhor water - try placing a dash of lemon juice in the water with a little splenda. This hides the plain taste. Or freeze your water the night before and slowly sip it as it melts during the day. Hey, they say drinking cold water helps burn calories - as the body has to work to bring it to core temperature. Why not try that? We have to use whatever tricks we have. Also, if you are heavier than most - you probablly have to drink more water than most. Try increasing your water intake to 3 liters a day.
