You Are The Reason Why You Are Fat

You are the only reason why you have that big belly. Yup, I said it. You are the only one that put all that crap in your mouth. You are the one that doesn't take a walk or play basketball after work anymore. Yup, you. You got lazy. You didn't care about the growing belly. Now you are here looking for a quick weight loss scam - guess, what you will get one.

First you have to take full responsibility of your weight. Don't blame work, your crazy schedule, your kids, etc. Understand that the reason you are the way you are is because you willed yourself to be that way. You made the choice on a daily basis - not to eat right, not to exercise, not to meditate,to stress out. Once you see that you are the biggest culprit or enemy to your weight loss, you can stop unwanted behavior to aid you in the goal you want.

Now that you recognize that you perhaps sabatoge your own efforts for weight loss - Does that mean you have to cut all the joy in your life. No. The occasional sweet treat is not going to kill all your efforts. I mean a once a week, cheat meal will not thwart all efforts. Have your cake that day and move on. Simple. The occassional - and I mean occassional slip up or divine piece of cake will not make you keep the twenty pounds your carry on your tummy.

Decide that you deserve to have the body of your dreams. The real reason that you are not the weight you want to be is that you feel for whatever reason that you do not deserve to be that weight. You are holding yourself back. All that fat on your belly holds your guilt, your fear, your stress, etc. Yeah, it sounds like a lot of hooey, but as I've said before diet and weight loss programs work - the reason why it doesn't work for you - is you.

If you really felt in your heart that you deserve to be 115lbs with no belly - your body, your life would provide that for you. Opportunities for exercise or better food choices would just happen, because you would expect them too. But at your current weight, you expect to find doughnuts when you come into work. Or you expect to eat sugary cereals before you go to bed.

When you deserve to be belly free and expect it, the salad for lunch appears. You expect to have a salad for lunch instead of the burger. Your co-workers invite you to run or attend a yoga class, instead of finding a reason not to go - you willingly go and actually look forward to it, because you deserve to be thin and this how thin people live. They live happy and active lives.

So, that's it. Take responsibility for all the crap you put in your mouth. Take responsibility for not treating your body well by not exercising or giving it stress relief. Once you acknowledge that - then start actively believing that you deserve to be thin and healthy. Look for activities that encompass and embrace those beliefs. Voila - you should have the body of your dreams in no time.
